High Five For Hurstwood

Millers Bridge

Hurstwood is celebrating multiple successes after completing letting deals on five units at Millers Bridge Industrial Estate in Bootle in the month of May.

With only one vacant unit now remaining, Mark Carling, Head of Commercial Sales and Lettings at Hurstwood says Millers Bridge will soon be fully let.

Mark said, “Everyone knows we are in the middle of a recession so we are delighted to have completed these five deals. This is a fantastic achievement, particularly as there is only one unit left.

“It’s great to welcome the new tenants to the site and they really add to the variety of businesses we have here.”

Amongst the new tenants is Alan Keyall, who supplies clearance and confectionary foods to a number of retail outlets.

Alan said: “We were previously based in Bromborough but decided to move to Millers Bridge because of its excellent location. It’s been developed to a high standard and the building is really secure which is great.”

Auto Cheshire Repair Centre, a vehicle repair centre specialising in maintenance, repair and modifications is also new to Millers Bridge. Owner Tim Allister previously worked for Renault for 16 years before opening his own firm. Tim said, “The area is great and I have some great business contacts locally which made the decision to locate here very easy.”

Another unit on the estate now belongs to mechanic engineers Caya Motors. Owner Sam Kaghi chose Millers Bridge as a location for his new business because he wanted a thriving, busy area to launch his firm. “Millers Bridge fitted the bill. I was really impressed with the site,” he said.

The other two units have been snapped up by ABC Coffee Roasters and Stephen Seavor, who will be trading as a pharmaceutical company.

Millers Bridge is based off Derby Road in Bootle, Liverpool, and is now home to a number of firms including mechanical engineers, valeting services and crane and steel work organisations.
